Every year, the banks of the Nerus River in Terengganu transform into a center of excitement and competition in conjunction Long Boat Festival. This lively event not only competes for the speed and compactness of long boat teams, but also celebrates the rich maritime cultural heritage in Terengganu.

This festival is usually held in Kg. Jeram, Kuala Nerus, and attracts thousands of visitors and participants from all over the state and neighboring countries. With boats decorated traditionally and accompanied by drums and cheers from the audience, the party atmosphere becomes more alive and mesmerizing.
