Setiu Wetlands Festival 2024 offers a variety of interesting and beneficial activities. It will take place from 17 to 19 October 2024 at the Boardwalk, Taman Negeri Setiu Wetlands, Terengganu. The festival combines environmental awareness, culture, and sports. This event is suitable for the whole family and visitors from various backgrounds.

Among the main events are Family Camp, Wetland Bio D Adventure, and Night at Wetland. This activity offers an amazing natural experience. In addition, there will also be a Wetland Nature Talk and a competition for the best tent setup. The participation fee for Family Camp is RM50 for adults and RM25 for children. This fee includes tent sites, facilities, and BBQ activities at the Setiu Wetlands Boardwalk.

The People's Sports Festival will be held on 18 and 19 October 2024. Traditional games such as stick football, tin ball, flip flop throwing, long pole, and tug of war will enliven the event. This game not only entertains but also introduces traditional games to the younger generation.

Another interesting event is the Team Search for Kepah Competition which will be held on 19 October 2024 at Gong Batu Jetty. The competition is divided into two categories: Locals and Mass Media/Overseas Visitors. The winner will be determined based on the most catches. Attractive cash prizes of up to RM300 await participants.

This festival is the best platform to introduce the beauty of Setiu Wetlands. It also strengthens the relationship between the community and the environment.
